Who’s this?

Rachel Lincoln Sarnoff is a writer whose novels and essays draw on her career as a climate communicator. Rachel took the TEDx stage twice, was interviewed on the “Today” show, and published in the Washington Post.

She is also a communications director and podcast host at Cascale, the global nonprofit alliance driving systemic transformation to combat climate change and support decent work in the consumer goods industry. Previously, Rachel founded EcoStiletto and Mommy Greenest, executive directed Healthy Child Healthy World (now part of the Walton Children’s Center) and the 5 Gyres Institute, and swapped sustainability tips with Jane Goodall, Jenna Elfman, and King Charles, among others.

Rachel holds master’s degrees in fiction and journalism. She hosts “Ask an Author” on Instagram, the Good Newsletter on Substack, and the Santa Monica Silent Book Club IRL. She also lectures on climate fiction through the Center for Undergraduate Environmental Leadership at UCSB, her alma mater.
